Refund Policy

At The American Vape Company, your satisfaction is our priority. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for purchases made at https://theamericanvapecompany.com.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

  • Unopened products returned within 14 days of delivery in original, sealed packaging.
  • Defective products (e.g., a non-functioning JUUL device or pod) reported within 30 days of delivery. Photo or video verification may be requested.
  • Incorrect items — if we shipped the wrong product, we will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping.
  • Damaged in transit — reported within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging.
  • Undeliverable orders — if age verification fails at delivery or your address is in a restricted jurisdiction, we refund the product cost minus original shipping.
  • Cancelled orders — orders cancelled before shipment receive a full refund.

2. Non-Refundable Items

For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following are not eligible for refund or return:

  • Opened or used nicotine pouches (ZYN), pods (JUUL, Logic), or any consumable nicotine product
  • Products with broken seals or missing packaging
  • Items marked Final Sale or Clearance
  • Original shipping fees (except for defective/incorrect items)
  • Returns initiated more than 14 days after delivery (30 days for defective items)

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@theamericanvapecompany.com with your order number, the item(s), and reason for the request. Include photos for damage or defect claims.
  2. We will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days. If a return is required, you will receive an RMA number and return address.
  3. Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving your RMA (if applicable).

4. Refund Processing

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection by email.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
  • We do not issue refunds to a different card or account than the one used for purchase.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund after 10 business days: (1) check your bank account again, (2) contact your card issuer — processing times vary, then (3) contact us at support@theamericanvapecompany.com and we will investigate with our payment processor.

6. Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange, email support@theamericanvapecompany.com — exchanges ship after the original item is received or verification is complete.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues can be resolved quickly by our support team. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery action.
